1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using WhatIsTTS ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Description of Service
WhatIsTTS is a text-to-speech aggregation platform that routes requests to upstream AI providers. We do not own or operate the underlying TTS models. We provide a unified API, billing, and management layer.

- One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. API Keys and Access
- API keys (prefixed
sk-tts-) are issued per account and must not be shared publicly. - You must not embed API keys in client-side code, public repositories, or mobile applications.
- We may revoke API keys at any time if misuse is detected.
- Rate limits apply per plan tier. Exceeding limits may result in temporary throttling or suspension.

- Consumed credits are non-refundable.
- Chargebacks or payment disputes without prior contact may result in account suspension.
8. Upstream Provider Terms
When you use WhatIsTTS to access third-party TTS providers, you are also subject to their terms of service and acceptable use policies. We route your requests but do not control the output quality, availability, or policies of upstream providers. Provider outages or changes are not grounds for refund.
9. Intellectual Property
- You retain ownership of the text you submit and the audio output generated for you, subject to upstream provider license terms.
- Open-source models may have specific license requirements (e.g., Apache 2.0, MIT, AGPL). Check model-specific pages for details.
- Commercial provider outputs may have separate usage rights. Consult the provider's terms.
- The WhatIsTTS platform, branding, and documentation are our intellectual property.
